WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A SOUND HEALING SESSION?
In a private 1:1 session, it will start with an assessment of the individual's issues and goals, followed by a bespoke sound healing and post review.
All you need to do is to lie down on a yoga mat (or sit if you prefer), close your eyes, relax and bring your attention to the sound and vibration.
As the sound waves and vibrations wash over you, you may feel a range of physical sensations, such as tingling, warmth, or a sense of weightlessness. Some experience a deep sense of relaxation, and may even fall asleep during the session.

Sound healing is in an active research stage in our modern scientific community although sound healing as a modality has been used for centuries across many cultures.
There are many studies on sound healing and most of them are privately funded and small-scale. However the growing body of research in this area suggests that it is a promising therapeutic approach that deserves further study and exploration.

WHEN IS SOUND HEALING BENEFICIAL?
When you have a concern about a physical condition and want to use sound therapy alongside conventional medicine because relaxed patients have lower stress hormones, stronger immune systems, and better tools to cope with the psychological and physical effects of their disease and treatment.

IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO PREPARE BEFORE OR AFTER THE SESSION?
It is advisable to wear comfortable and loose clothing when you come for a session.
You can bring along a shawl or blanket to cover yourself as you may feel cold lying down for an hour.
An eye-pillow and a small cushion is good if you have one.
Depending on the venue, yoga mats are usually provided but please feel free to bring your own.
Kindly arrive 5 mins earlier to allow yourself time to settle down and experience the entire duration of the session.
Please let me know in advance if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or any metal implant, suffer from any kind of sound sensitive condition or have epilepsy.
I recommend drinking more water than you usually do after a session and generally take it easy.
